Give back

2020 has been rough on all of us, so what better time to give back to the local community that has given so much to us?

Min’s Permanent Makeup and Day Spa is proud to announce our food drive for the residents of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, a non-profit organization that pours its generosity into the homeless population of the Las Vegas area. Founded in 1970 by a pastor and six generous businessmen, this shelter has provided beds, meals, and other essentials in order to give these vulnerable individuals the resources they require in order to re-enter society with the help of the Christian faith.

At first, a partnership between a day spa and the Vegas Rescue Mission may seem like an unlikely pairing, but anyone who lives and works in Vegas has a complex and multifaceted relationship with the homeless individuals they come across every day. The Las Vegas Rescue Mission was created to aid those who are in need on the streets of Las Vegas, ensuring no one is left behind by society just because they are going through a hard time with addiction, mental illness, and other issues. In this vein, a food drive can aid those who are currently experiencing hunger, and we’d love your canned goods or donations towards this amazing cause.

Now more than ever, by putting resources into our local community when its main income of tourism has slowed down significantly, we can help to uplift individuals who may not have anyone else that can help them, especially during the holiday season. Banding together as a community in hard times is the sign of a strong bond, and donating food to this local charity is an easy way for us to provide for those who have lost their jobs, homes, and other important life assets during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you would like to help out our team and donate to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, contact the spa for more information about how you can help provide food safety to low-income families this holiday season.
